ISO Regulations for all European Castor Manufacturers

All European Wheel and Castor Manufacturers are required to comply with a number of regulations and standards to ensure European uniformity. These standards cover testing methods, and calculation of load capacities, dimensions of both wheels and castor housings. The standardisation of certain component sizes is intended to guarantee the customer straightforward product interchangeability. The Europe wide regulatory authority is ISO (International Standard Organisation), which is represented in Italy by UNI (Ente Nationale Italiano di Unificazione). Cebora is also a member of the Italian society of wheel and castor manufacturers, known as UCIR (Unione Costruttori Italiani Ruote).
