N-AT WHEELS
The new one-piece black wheels, our model N-AT (diameter 80 to 100 mm) are made with
thermo-plastic material and differ from the phenolic wheels, AT series, which are made of
thermo-hardening material. Both these wheels resist up to a temperature of 260 ° C for a short time.
The load capacities of both wheels are calculated strictly following the European regulations,
which foresee a load capacity test at ambient temperature: dynamic carrying capacity of 150 DaN
(for the wheel N-AT 80) and 180 DaN (for the N-AT 100) at a maximum operating speed of 4 km/h
for hand-driven trolleys for medium loads. The new N-AT wheel has a good resistance to moisture,
abrasion, bumps and is less noisy than the phenolic wheels. The employ of the wheels N-AT is advisable
when the trolley enters the oven hang-up or when the load is not borne by the wheels, because the
temperature changes the load capacity characteristics of the thermo-plastic wheel: the characteristics
of load capacity are given at ambient temperature, as mentioned here above. Should the wheels be used
in different ways, it is always appropriate to carry out practical tests under actual conditions of use.
